A chain of guidance
The Qur’an names 25 prophets, from Adam to Muhammad ﷺ. Each came to call his people back to worshipping God alone and to living with justice and mercy.
Familiar names
Many are shared with the Bible: Adam, Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), Dawud (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), and Isa (Jesus) — peace be upon them all.
The final messenger
Muslims believe Muhammad ﷺ was the last prophet, sent not to one tribe but to all of humanity, completing the same message the others carried.
